10:55 am	So I turned on the radio the other day when the batteries from my cd player died, and I hear this new Ozzy Osbourne cover. For those of you not familiar with this aural butchery, some genius decided it would be a good idea for Ozzy to cover Mountain's Mississippi Queen. Now, as a huge fan of Mountain, I must say that this could be one of the most pathetic covers I have ever heard. As big of an asshole as Leslie West is, I would figure he'd be pretty pissed after hearing that cheesedick Zakk Wylde "bro-out" the song's guitar lines and classic heavy tone. However, I'm sure the fat royalty check he'd be getting would be a nice help in recovering from that failed line of stupid Les Paul specials he put out a few years back, or maybe they just let him wear one of those "rad" BLS leather vests. I really hope Ozzy dies soon. While on this subject, I'm kind of interested in compiling a list of the worst cover songs ever. Let's hear some suggestions. Here's mine: -Judas Priest: Johnny Be Goode -Six Feet Under: Wrathchild -Head(pe): Sabbra Cadabbra -ZZ Top: Viva Las Vegas -Limp Bizkit: Behind Blue Eyes -Iron Maiden: Cross-Eyed Mary -Whoever the band they play on 96.3 that covers that awful Supertramp song.
